Uno-X Mobility to build charging network for electric heavy-duty trucks

Today, the first charger in the Uno-X Mobility network for charging of heavy-duty trucks opened, at Vinterbro in Ås municipality. Uno-X will be a leading player in the market for high-performing charging of heavy-duty transport, and the day is celebrated with offering charging at all Uno-X charging stations for passenger cars at only 1 ,- Nkr per kWh.

Will develop a leading infrastructure together with the customers

Uno-X Mobility operates a network of truck locations offering fuel for heavy-duty trucks. The transport sector accounts for approximately 1/3 of greenhouse gas emissions in Norway, and conversion to solutions for zero and low emissions is necessary.

Uno-X Mobility wants to contribute to more sustainable mobility in collaboration with customers. The first customer is REMA 1000, which has ambitious goals to reduce emissions from its goods transport.

It is important for us to establish solutions for high-performing charging of heavy-duty trucks in a way that fits well into the customers' transport patterns.

Jens Haugland, general manager of Uno-X Mobility Norway

- We have gained valuable experience from the collaboration with REMA 1000 at Vinterbro. It is important for us to establish solutions for high-performing charging of heavy-duty trucks in a way that fits well into the customers' transport patterns. Therefore, we will continue to work closely with customers in the development of our new infrastructure, to make it easier to electrify transport, says Jens Haugland, general manager of Uno-X Mobility Norway.

At REMA 1000 at Vinterbro, six charging points have initially been set up.

Two 400 kW chargers will be used by REMA Distribusjon, and a corresponding charger outside the gate will be publicly available to anyone who wants to charge easily and efficiently at Uno-X.
